At PITSTOP - LETCHWORTH Autocentre we have installed a fully automated testing lane ,which includes the latest testing equipment recommended by DVSA

 

Listed below is a brief description of the different classes tested at Pit-stop Autocentres

 

Class IV > Cars (up to 8 passenager seats),

Motorhomes & Mini Buses 9-12 passenager seats & Vans up to 3000kg £44.95   -  or £29.95 with a full service 

 

Class V > Mini Buses 12-16 passenger seats £55.95  ** only available at our Letchworth branch

 

Class VII > Goods Vehicles and Vans (over 3000 to 3500kg ) £55.95  ** only available at our Letchworth branch

 

MOT test can be carried out up to 1 calender month prior to expiry of existing test (in cases of first test use date of first registration)

How often do I need an MoT? 

If your vehicle is three years old or more, you’re required by law to have an annual safety check called the Ministry of Transport Test - the MoT Test.

Why is the MoT important?

The MoT ensures that your vehicle meets the minimum legal safety level. Without a current MoT certificate, it’s illegal to drive your vehicle or renew your road fund license.

 

And now the MoT testing system has been computerised, police and mobile camera units can check remotely whether your vehicle has a current MoT or not. Please remember, it’s your responsibility to have your vehicle tested every 12 months. Once we have performed an MOT on your Car/Van we will send a reminder to your home address just before your next due test date.
